SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

·        Develop detail design of communications systems, sites and facilities for expansion of private network.

·        Design efforts include analog/digital microwave radios, fiber optic cable systems, lightwave/SONET radios, conventional/trunked mobile radio systems, video conferencing systems, PBX/telephone systems, digital/analog multiplex, data communications equipment, remote telemetry/SCADA, protective relaying and AC/DC power.

·        Provide for accurate time and cost estimates, create/track work orders, account for budget variances and written correspondence to include technical RFP/RFQ’s and presentation materials.

·        Coordinate workflow and provide project management on a large-scale basis.

·        Assist in reviewing department workload levels and recommend changes to work allocations as necessary.

·        Develop and review engineering/equipment/installation standards.

·        Provide project management for complex, special projects and technical support for communication field crews and engineers.

·        Communicates with various contingencies including executives, employees, vendors, customers, and outside agencies.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·        Bachelor’s degree - Electrical or Telecom Engineering or equivalent work experience

·        Specialized training or courses on communications equipment/systems and Supervision/Management

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

·        Prefer 10 plus years of Telecommunications Industry experience

·        Prefer Professional Engineer (PE) License

·        Some travel required

Qualifications

 

·        Must possess 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Information Services (IT) support of financial applications.

·        Developer experience in one or more modules in the Supply Chain (Inventory, Purchasing, A/R, and A/P) Oracle applications is required.

·        Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reportbuilder and PL/SQL is required.

Specific Job Functions:  

  • Maintain and secure data on all Oracle environments
  • Monitor and tune all Oracle databases
  • Provide solutions for performance, maintainability, scalability, availability and security to Project Managers.

Successful candidates will possess a college degree in Computer Science or MIS.  If no degree, equivalent experience must be demonstrated. 

Desired experience includes:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Oracle DBA

  • Good knowledge of Unix and Linux. AIX and Redhat a plus
  • Oracle RAC / ASM experience. Proven ability to install, deploy and manage Oracle 10g RAC on ASM
  • Experience in database performance tuning and monitoring
  • Experience in logical and physical database design and capacity planning
  • In-depth knowledge of RMAN. Knowledge of Tivoli a plus
  • Experience with Datapump export and import
  • Experience with Enterprise Manager Grid Control

    In addition to managing the provisioning team, the Manager of Network Security will also:

     

    ·        Define user application security for existing and new systems.

    ·        Identify, allocate, and manage resources to achieve project objectives.

    ·        Design team roles and responsibilities to ensure accountability.

    ·        Collaborate with various IT teams (ex. Data Security, Engineering, etc.) and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with logical security.

    ·        Oversee logical security audits for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Payment Card Industry (PCI).

    ·        Implement and administer an Identity Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system across all enterprise resources.

    ·        Provide 24x7 on-call support as required.

    ·        Participate in audit reviews throughout the year to ensure best practices are integrated into all environments.

    ·        Generate and provide regular Network Security reports and scorecards.

     

    Successful candidates will have previous hands-on and team management experience as well as meet the following criteria:

     

    ·        Four-year degree plus 4 years experience in Information Technology or 8 years experience in Information Technology required. 

    ·        Previous Manager-level experience in the area of access control and system/application security.

    ·        Security and/or audit-related certification (ex. CISA) is highly desired.

    Job Description:

    The Programmer/Analyst will be providing production support to the Work Management Information System (WMIS). WMIS is an off the shelf Oracle 9i backed application with a custom Java web application extending the standard functionality of the application.

    • Perform programming duties for the Work Management System including, but not limited to development of reports, forms, PL/SQL queries and Discoverer queries in an ORACLE Database environment 50% of time: PL/SQL scripting 
    • Oracle Reporting
    • Development of programming specifications through interaction with business unit subject matter experts
    • Work closely with the Team Lead and Analysts throughout the change request process to insure the delivery of an accurate solution.
    • Process change requests through Remedy ticket system, including application wide data changes,
    • Deploy changes to production and non-production environments
    • Provide limited application support / analysis for third-party software application

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar role
    • Strong PL/SQL scripting skills
    • Strong Oracle Reports background (Versions 6 or 9)
