Provide Professional Services, specifically computer programming and/or technical services in the following areas:

Business Analysis of Applications
Provide analysis of work management/mobile work applications.

Business Process/Testing Writing
Create and document business processes and testing scripts/plans, etc. Translate business processes into detailed test plans for all phases of testing (test cases, test schedule, issues tracking/resolutions process and reporting requirements), completed test cases, build issues tracking database and completed testing efforts. Map process flow in Visio.

Crystal Report Design/Development
Create business requirements. Design and develop Crystal Report documents.

Help Desk Support
Provide second and third level support to all questions, problems and service requests related to all computer technologies as it applies to the business. Technologies include hardware, operating systems, telecommunications, networking and software.

Lawson Analyst/Development; Lawson Tools Programming
Assist existing Business Systems staff in maintaining Lawson HR/Payroll and related interfaces. Maintain, modify and create additional Employee and Manager Self-Service programs. Create reports using Lawson Enterprise Reporting. Create and maintain Lawson Process Flows and maintenance of interfaces using SQL.

Lawson Enterprise Reporting/Crystal Report Programming
Work with Business Systems staff and HR customers to define, design, create and document reporting requirements over Lawson HR and Payroll data residing in an Oracle Database. Use a combination of Lawson Enterprise Reporting and Crystal Reports 9.0.

PeopleSoft CIS Technical Training
Participate in Job/Task analysis by capturing the required information from SMEs to use during program development. Write course descriptions, training curriculum and materials for direct instruction and access from the intranet, online training and job aids. Schedule and deliver regular classroom training sessions to staff in the applications used in line with the needs of user groups and business objectives.

Programming/Application Development - Portal Development
Applications development utilizing Cold Fusion MX with an emphasis on portal development.

PeopleSoft CIS Deployment
Lead a team to create and execute detailed project plans for the final deployment steps of migrating from a mainframe CIS system to a modern CIS architecture (PeopleSoft-CIS from SPL, on top of Oracle and Peopletools 8.x.) Identify and manage all the tasks and activities related to accepting the system into normal business operations. All facets of the project included in this effort range from “final” data conversion, to testing, training, operational procedures, system retirement, inter-application integration, etc.

Project Lead for Job & Time Entry System
Project Management of all deliverables in each phase of a replacement project (AS/400 to an NT or UNIX application using an Oracle Database) including, but not limited to, requirements definition, RFI, project scope definition, project plan, testing/training plans and migration plan. Utilize project management tools such as issues log, resource planning, project meetings, team building risk assessment and project planning.

Senior Level Applications Development
Manage change control activities (promotion of application code, tables, and configuration from environment to environment for patches, new releases, changes). Evaluate application performance, respond to performance trouble tickets from users/staff, perform troubleshooting/ turning. Create security procedures for adding, changing, removing users, roles, permissions. Manage security for the application. Ensure I.S. operations perform appropriate backups, saves appropriate logs, etc. to ensure the system can be recovered due to machine, application and/or procedure failures. Develop recovery strategies for anticipated failure scenarios.

Senior Programming Analysis
Support the District’s in-house developed billing system. Perform business analysis. Coding in RPG/400 and ILERPG.

Technical Writing
Contribute to formalizing all business processes, procedures and team guidance used in support of District computer technologies and its users.

Work Order Portal
Coding of the Work Order Portal utilizing Visual Basic.Net, Oracle PL/SQL and the development of middleware components.
